“ Venchi has delicious chocolates with a good selection of individually wrapped chocolates and chocolate truffes. They had some unique flavors. I tried many of the wrapped chocolates and my favorite was the pistachio. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Interior is beautifully lit with a sophisticated spin on the traditional candy shop feel! ”
“ Popped in while shopping at the mall. Noticed how bright and well spaced the shop was. Everything was well lit and they seemed to make everything easy to find. There were plenty of associates around to ask questions to. And the Stracciatella was delicious as well. It was about $7.25 for a single kids scoop. And each scoop you had a choice of a milk or dark chocolate piece placed on top. ”
“ Venchi hosted us as a small group for a team building activity and it was a blast! They had everything ready for samples of all their chocolates, we could order whatever gelato and extras we wanted and they had little goodie bags to take home. Easiest (and least expensive) group hangout I've ever done. And being right in KoP you could add lunch/dinner before or walking at Valley Forge super easy. I'm glad to have a new gourmet chocolates spot to rely on. ”
“ Probably one of the best gelatos I have had. The chocolates also just as delicious. I can't wait to be back in the area to have it again! ”
“ I like chocolate, but I would choose vanilla and creamy things over chocolate generally speaking. However when I saw Venchi get on TooGoodToGo, I had to see what random thing I'd get- especially since I learned about their quality chocolate from an Elite event earlier. I got two bags exactly the same, but each bag had a random assortment of quality chocolate all in the same green colored wrapping. The quantity seemed kinda small at first, but then as I ate and experienced the variety, it seemed reasonable. The deal seems to be about $3 off the regular retail price per bag. And, no, I didn't just get the random TooGoodToGo bags. I also had their famous gelato and they always do it so well- chocolate or not- I chose their autumn essence because I love blood red grapefruit and the panna cotta flavor (I couldn't remember this common classic name and had to google up classic Italian cake names since Venchi only lists their most common flavors or very special ones currently being featured on their website.) I also didn't take pictures of the inside because I didn't want to be annoying paparazzi like. Plus, if you can find the Elite event listing, there are many pictures of the interior too! Staff here is friendly. ”
“ Super cute place! I am so glad they finally came over to Pennsylvania. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. All of their Chocolates are imported from Italy! They have a wide selection of chocolates! Their chocolates are made with carefully selected and natural ingredients. They have a selection of gluten free, sugar free and vegan options. Their gelato is freshly made everyday and they also have vegan options as well! You are able to choose between a cup or cone. I hope you enjoy their chocolates & gelato! ”
“ Upscale Italian chocolate and gelato place at the KOP mall. The store is beautifully decorated. Although you see more gelato decors, their chocolate section is actually more extensive and it's conveniently organized according to sugar levels! It's been a while since I saw a chocolate and gelato place at this level and I'm very excited about it. ”
“ The best gelato I have ever had. Silky and smooth with amazing flavors. You can sample the gelato before ordering it. There are a lot of Italian chocolate bars and individually wrapped chocolate by the pound. They also have chocolate in the form of cigars with some flavors like orange and pistachio. You will probably want try each chocolate there but don't go overboard because you can get a heart attack after the cashier tells you the total. For the chocolate by the pound, it's about $55 per pound. All of them are made with high quality chocolate. One side of the wall has full display of many varieties of chocolate bars from pistachio, milk, white, dark, tiramisu. The dark chocolate and hazelnut spread is not very sweet with a hint of bitterness and it's thick. For those who are watching the sugar intake, nocciolata fondente is the perfect choice. It has 70 percent less sugar. Only 2 grams of sugar per serving. It also has piedmont hazelnuts. Staff members are so nice and friendly. ”
“ TL;DR: If I had to pick a single favorite gelato/ice cream of all time-- I'd pick Venchi's pistachio. The conundrum: I passed over trying Venchi several times due to the long lines and a strong suspicion that it would be expensive and not live up to the hype. Despite every other first impression you may have (i.e. garish decorations and proximity to the glitzy high-end, "conspicuous consumption" mecca of the mall) -- it actually lives up to the hype! There's typically a huge line at all times, but it does tend to ebb and flow. I would stand in line again for the pistachio and hazelnut gelatos. ”
“ A huge win for KOP mall! Venchi is comparable to allll of the gelato I ate in Italy. This is an Italian chain and it did not disappoint. I am elated that I can get this is in the states now. It fills my void for the incredible gelato I have been missing from my recent trip to Italy. Get the pistacchio, you will not be disappointed! ”
